Key words: pipeline, self employee, mechanical engineer, Thai land, have you eaten, how was your day, never call you name... I'm devastated my spouse of 17 yes met a girl on line first she lived in Texas then Egypt and for the last yr he has had 4 different banks CU's she tells him to set up a bank account then she supposedly deposit a check then asks him to take the money out and send it back to her in a western union it has ruined our 17 I do is cry I can't stand the lies I would just want to end it they never have talked or met just texted something is wrong with this picture I met a man last night who claimed he worked for an oil company out of Houston but never would say a name. We have the same situation and I understand how you feel. He claimed to be stranded at our airport for 4 months now. I keep trying to call it quits but he won't let me.I'm luck I knew he gonna ask me money since he mentioned his dad died in Hong Kong and left him 11M, hahaha. I knew the minute I accepted a friend request from a stranger I had made a BIG mistake especially when he responded on Messenger almost instantly. I was just recently scammed by a fake US Army soldier Name Frank Edward base in Syria. I have to keep paying for him to stay there each month. He claims to still be at the airport with my money. He's working for a company drilling oil as a engineer I know this must be a scam also. He said he had both lived in mountain view, ca and Jacksonville, Florida . Lost everything cause he needed an app for his project which cost 200 dolllars. He even shown his family pictures, his son with him, I'm sure he used other people's. He fooled me for awhile until he wanted money to fly home.I asked if that's where he got his Nigerian accent. While we were talking I snapped the picture he used but I didn't get a picture of the girl he claimed was his daughter. This man and this girl, whomever they are are being used like this. He wasn't a very good scammer but I probably didn't play his game correctly either. One more thing, he asked me many times if I ever talked to anyone else I didn't know on FB. It was definitely creepy how he (or someone) always knew the minute I got on FB. In 2 weeks they start saying they are in love with you. Needed to get it out of his hands ASAP before company found out. Your story is similar to mine except I sent money through Western Union and Moneygram. I could hear someone in the background telling him to say something that I wouldn't know the difference. Also, he would ask what the weather was like 'over there'. I am so glad I googled catfishing oil field and found this sight Thank you for sharing your story Mine said he worked for Chevron off shore rigs. I think American police FBI and Interpol should cooperate urgently to stop such scammers. i know he has all the sighns i dont want to believe it. Caught him emailing using text from love letters on the internet. He's been in Germany since July to help his mother Elizabeth (who died from heart failure supposedly three weeks ago) get an operation for stage four cancer in Dusseldorf Germany. Started talking again when he texted that he lost his mother. He never asked me for money but would get furious because I told him I would chat with other military men. I just found out the guy I have been sending money to is 100% fraud. Can someone tell me if the police or FBI can do something? He wants ,500 to get his paperwork ready to leave Dubai. Advice to ladies on match is not to give your email address so easily and check out him name thoroughly.

Actually I like the profile he stole, who can tell me how I can find my real dream man in that picture? Claims he lives in Florida and works on an oil rig. He just sent me a long love letter stating his wife died from cancer three years ago and he is claiming his true love for me. Lesson learned is when a man from match claims his account is ending soon and he's a widower, just delete or contact match right away. He want to send me money so I can order a part for his job. His wife had died 5 years ago and his daughter Lisa was in a boarding school in Florida. I can see all the signs of a scam but because I fell inlove with him I don't want to believe that my guy is a scammer. He said he owed
