Holy Island - always special to cross the causeway.
Wonderful run, walk, lots of food and fabulous soak with fizz in the hot tub.
The state rooms are beautiful and the poison garden well worth a visit.
We love to scare ourselves in the haunted cellar experience!
A truly memorable week and would consider a return visit " Chappell, Shield, Law Families - Aug 2017 "We had a lovely time at Hastings House and in - and around - Seahouses. The weather has been great and would visit Bamburgh, Craster and Holy Island. PS, we really enjoyed our visit to The Alnwick Garden - definitley worth visiting. " The Caws, Swains and Ires - Apr 2017 "A fab house equipped with everything our 3 families needed. Nice cafe ' Salt Water' for snacks and cakes. Recommend a Billy Shiel boat trip - six of us went to the inner farne even though the puffins had already departed.
We especially enjoyed walking in the local area; visiting the castles of Alnwick, Bamburgh, Chillingham, Etal and Ford; taking the boat to the Farne Islands and seeing the puffins on Inner Farne. We ate at the Potted Lobster in Bamburgh and the Jolly Fisherman at Newton By The Sea. " Mc Murrays, Cains and Doyals - May 2017 "We had a fabulous week in a beautiful house. The hot tub was lovely and the little extras were really appreciated. You get an entirely different view of the coast and landmarks bobbing up and down on a little boat.
5 dogs safely being looked after at home by friends, we enjoyed a relaxing week with warm sunny days. There were 10 of us and 2 dogs and we never felt on top of each other and we felt like we had our own space. Seahouses is a beautiful setting and to be so close to everything was ideal. So lovely to be able to bring our four legged family member too. " The Cowies - Mar 2017 "Restaurants were all very busy so do book to avoid disappointment. Newton by the Sea - great walks and views- village pub - extremely busy Beadnell - favourite.
